A magnificent pink kunzite of substantial size.
Kunzite is a variety of spodumene, alongside yellow triphane and green hiddenite. They are often compared to better-known beryl varieties—such as morganite, golden beryl, and emerald—because they occur in similar colors and possess high transparency. Kunzite is the most well-known variety and is widely prized for its pale pink to violet-like hue, with pale pink being the most common. However, the more saturated (intense) the pink color, the more valuable the stone.
This specimen is perfect for a lavish ring or as the centerpiece of a pendant.
