This Mozambique zircon has a deep, pinkish-brown color with a warm undertone. The gemstone is cut in a teardrop shape (Diamond Drop design, Andrew Brown), allowing the high luster and strong refraction for which zircon is known to come into their own. The combination of the rich color and its Mozambique origin makes it a distinctive specimen. Due to its hardness (6.5 – 7.5 Moh) and classic shape, the stone is highly suitable for use in various types of jewelry.
